TV- and Media Director, Producer and Editor
Host and Creative Content Development
I'm Christopher Leo Andersen. Danish TV/media director, vidiographer, producer and editor with a wide range of industry skills and many years of experience in content creation. I develop and produce short- and long-format videos, social media and online first content.
Troldspejlet and Fan Community
A big part of my career has evolved around content for kids and adult fans of toys, movies, video games, and comics, as evident in my long-running work for Troldspejlet. As part of the team behind Troldspejlet I develop new ideas, write scripts, film and edit videos and edit audio podcasts.
I joined Troldspejlet in the summer of 2013 as the toy expert. The first segments I wrote and hosted were titled LegetøjsZonen, a series about the history of toys and action figures, like Star Wars, He-Man, Barbie, Transformers, LEGO and GI Joe. Shortly after that I wrote and hosted segments where I traveled around Denmark and tested rollercoasters in amusement parks. From there on - for more than 10 years - I’ve filmed and covered new releases of toys, video games, movies and comics.
You can catch my reviews in DR P1 podcast Troldspejlet Podcast or watch Troldspejlet on broadcast television, DR1/DR2, where I’m part of the creative team putting out new TV-episodes every month.
Social Media
Throughout the years I’ve enjoyed developing and working on a lot of diffrent social media projects. A big part of them at DR Ung Digital, in both satire and serious portraits of young people. We produced weekly content with short deadlines that gathered millions of views on social media platforms. One of the formats, Løvens Bule, won a Zulu Award. A personal highlight for me was when we filmed in Africa for Danmarks Indsamling.
Podcast, YouTube and Live
Apart from Troldspejlet I host and manage other podcasts about fiction. One of them is Dommerne (formerly known as Dårligdommerne). I've enjoyed making this show with my co-hosts Jacob Hinchely and Troels Møller for hundreds of episodes, since 2014.
Occasionally I take the content I create out in public, either with my colleagues or by myself. Live shows or on-stage talks about pop-culture, often with interviews in front of audiences.
You might also have seen my work in our Stegelcast series on YouTube. We created the channel as a place to take deep dives into nerdy themes that don’t otherwise get a lot of coverage in Danish media.
Through the years I've also created commercials, campaigns, music videos and creative workshops for companies seeking to optimize their social media content. Selected examples can be found in the Video section.
